Areas of responsibility

Areas of responsibilities at manufacturers:

• Quality assurance accompanying production
• Checking of personnel qualifications
• Checking of materials used (material certificates)
• Checking of welding fillers used
• Checking of non-destructive tests
• Acceptance of finished vessel and possibly of the hydraulic pressure test
• Checking of the assembly (in the case of pressure vessels)
• Control of manufacturing authorization of the manufacturer (only if commissioned by the customer)

Areas of responsibility at operators:

• Control of the line-up of components (vessels etc) before start-up
• Recurrent tests on existing components "Inspections" (drums, piping, towers etc) at the required intervals.
• Building supervision activities in the case of replacement of components
• Coordination and test supervision in the field of non-destructive material testing
• Quality assurance (see above under manufacturers)
